Work Completed Date: October 15, 2011Hire Again: Yes Approximate Cost: $2,267.00Description Of Work: Loft Deck Iron Guard Rails.  Fabricated and installed (2) 10 foot railings. Craftsmanship was excellent.Member Comments: I signed the contract with Darryl on August 19, 2011.  Completion was finished on October 15th, 2011. Top rail was made of 2" x 5" tube steel, with the 5" side on top.  Bottom rail made of 4" x 2" tube steel, with the 2" side on top.  Verticals were made of 1 1/2 inch square tube steel set no more than 3 7/8" apart. After fabrication railings were hot dip galvanized before final Powder coating with an Oil Rubbed Bronze. I am completely satisfied.  I also had an interior iron stair railing done by Darryl earlier in the 2011.  It is superb.

Work Completed Date: August 01, 2010 Hire Again: Yes Approximate Cost: $3,300.00 Description Of Work: Mr Huyser and the workers were very professional as they installed 50 ft. of 5 ft. high x 11-1/2 gage galvanized chain link fence set 5 ft. from the edge of the street curb at the front, west side of the house. Beginning at the southwest end next to the 12 ft. wide double-swing gate and heading north to the 12 ft. wide single-swing gate. All the 5 ft. high fence and two 12 ft. wide gates in one straight line. Cordial, proficient and knowledgeable.
And 171 ft. of 6 ft. high x 11-1/2 gage galvanized chain link fence set 9 ft. from the street curb on the north side of the house. And one 12 ft. wide x 5 ft. high double-swing gate on the south drive way. And one 12 ft. wide x 5 ft. high single-swing gate, hinged on the right side entering the property, on the north drive way.Member Comments: We shopped around and Mr. Huyser provided best price, clear plan and agreement, cooperative and equitable payment and payment plan. He provided two estimates and explained each thoroughly. He checked in with us and followed up when he said he would. His initial site survey and scheduling were not disruptive to the family. The chain link fence was installed in the promised time, he followed up to check the operations of the gate and our satisfaction of the service. We are very pleased with all aspects of the experience. The final product and services far exceeded our expectation. We strongly recommended Mr. Huyser for any and all work based upon his work ethics, customer service and workmanship.

All new connection points painted with zinc based paint and all welds cleaned up so there are no burrs (smoothed out). Member Comments: Excellent experience. The business owner supervised is a working supervisor. All communications were handled personally by Darryl. Cell phone for initial contact and work updates. E-mail was effectively used for delivery of estimate and invoice. Change orders (as discussed with verbal approval) were delivered as pdf via e-mail. The work force was very respectful of the property and owners. For example: they never requested use of the owners bathroom, never parked in the owners driveway, and cleaned-up the project each evening prior to departure. The team was punctual. A 9am start time meant they stepped on the property at 9am. The work force worked during the work day with no socializing. The owner orchestrated the entire project from start to completion. During the estimate procedure I learned that the owner is interested in doing only the work that requires to be done. There were choices between repairing a fence panel and replacing a panel. The owner tended to go the least expensive route rather than pad the estimate with unnecessary extras. Each item was discussed and specifically listed in the estimate. This was a cost-plus contract such that as emergent repairs showed up the owner would demonstrate the unforeseen problem and discuss the cost. Verbal authorization was granted by the owner and a revised estimate/invoice was sent. The contract was signed and only a minimum payment was requested. We settled up at the end of the project. I have recommended this company to other people and they have been satisfied with the work and price. The owner is a Christian and runs his buisness as one would expect from a man who delights in the word of God. Darryl is a bit of a perfectionist and I appreciate that because the detail work (painting and welding) was excellent.
